Couple Therapy
How Couple Therapy Works
This structured approach in couple therapy aims to foster mutual understanding, enhance communication, and strengthen emotional bonds. By working collaboratively and investing in the therapeutic process, couples can experience profound growth, resolve conflicts, and build a resilient foundation for a fulfilling and enduring relationship.
Initial Session
The initial session with the couple will focus on understanding each partner’s perspective on their interpersonal issues. The therapist will gain insight into whether the problems stem from the couple’s dynamics or individual concerns, and will recommend an appropriate course of action based on this assessment.

The Assessment
Both partners will complete online assessments separately, without consulting each other. These assessments will provide valuable information about each individual’s perspective, feelings, and experiences within the relationship. The therapist will use this data to inform their approach and tailor the intervention to the couple’s specific needs.
Co-Joint Feedback Session
In a separate co-joint session, the therapist will share feedback from the couple’s assessments. Together, the couple and therapist will collaboratively decide on the specific goals they want to work towards in therapy. This process ensures that both partners are invested in and committed to the therapeutic process.

The Intervetion Phase
The intervention phase will consist of co-joint sessions where the couple works together with the therapist. These sessions will focus on addressing the identified goals, developing new skills and strategies, and fostering a deeper understanding and connection between the partners. The therapist will guide and support the couple throughout this process.
Evaluating Progress & Growth
To measure progress and determine if the established goals have been met, the couple will complete a post-intervention assessment. This assessment will provide valuable insight into the effectiveness of the therapy and highlight any areas that may require further attention or support. The results will inform future steps in the couple’s journey.
