Welcome to the Calm Waterz Internship Program! 

We’re truly excited to have you on board. 

This internship is a supervised, structured, and enriching clinical training program for psychology students, offered under the guidance of a RCI Licensed Clinical Psychologist trained at NIMHANS, TISS Trained Therapy Supervisor, with over a decade of experience in therapy, supervision and mental health education.

What You’ll Experience

  1. Foundations of Clinical Work
  • Psychiatry & Psychological History Taking 
  • Case History Documentation & Submission 
  • Introduction to Mental Status Examination (MSE)
  1. Hands-On Learning
  • Observation of therapy sessions (with consent) 
  • Real-world exposure to client presentations and clinical documentation 
  • Exposure to ethical decision-making in therapy

3. Skill Building Through Practice

  • Case and topic presentations 
  • Learning and practicing basic rating scales
  • Case workups covering key psychological disorders
  • Clinical interviewing and case formulation skills 

4. Interactive Sessions & Reflection Spaces

  • Weekly case discussions and peer learning 
  • Guided reflection on clinical experiences 
  • Integrating theory with practice in a trauma-informed, inclusive framework
